"As a high school student, I had the opportunity to participate in a Mission Trip to Tanzania where we primarily worked at a Street Home, a shelter for abandoned children. The resilience and hope displayed by these children were truly remarkable and profoundly impacted my outlook on life. They taught me to appreciate what I have and to focus less on what I lack. Witnessing their positivity in the face of adversity showed me that every situation is temporary and that there are always opportunities for improvement.

Reflecting on how much this trip and these children changed me, I feel compelled to give back in return. My goal differs slightly, however; I aspire to provide these children with a safe and sustainable environment and to help prepare them for their bright futures. Without our support, they lack access to education and the certifications that are essential for their long-term success. I am eager to repay the kindness and resilience I witnessed in these deserving children and hope to extend my impact to even more lives.”
