Elias Kanaan

Being involved in my school and participating in a variety of extracurricular activities has always been an important part of who I am, but joining the Kutoa Foundation as an advocate introduced me to an entirely new community and perspective. Through Kutoa, I have had the opportunity to meet students from different schools and backgrounds who share similar values, passions, and a commitment to service. I have also been able to learn from people with different strengths, experiences, and ideas, which has helped me grow as both a leader and a person. Most importantly, Kutoa has strengthened my belief in serving those who are less fortunate and in the importance of giving back, whether through fundraising, service, or simply offering our time and resources to others.

I am excited to continue my journey with Kutoa as a Fundraising Intern and contribute more directly to the organization’s mission. In this role, I look forward to helping support fundraising efforts for major events, connecting with businesses and community partners, and finding new ways to strengthen the resources behind Kutoa’s work. I hope to continue building meaningful relationships while helping Kutoa expand its impact, support those in need, and create opportunities for the communities we serve.
